The Marin County Jail (MCJ) is the primary detention center in Marin County, CA. This facility maintains 222 medium-security, direct-supervision cells organized into six distinct pods. The configurations feature three general population male pods, each pod containing 41 cells, and one general population female pod with 35 cells.
